Any more Tiny Theme users need a Bluesky invite?

Wife and kids surprised me with an early Father’s Day gift. It’s a winner!

I have accounts on many of the Twitter replacement type services (Mastodon, Bluesky, Nostr), but I haven’t found myself using any of them with regularity. My daily drivers are essentially Micro.blog and Instagram (where I don’t even post).

I’ve added 3 flashlights and a G-Shock to my for sale page. I’ve also lowered a couple prices. Now’s the time to buy!

Added a 2017 iPad Pro 10.5” to my for sale page. A lot more stuff coming soon, including a G-Shock GM2100CB-3A if you want to beat the listing.

What ad blocker (and other Safari extensions) are people using these days?

I’m beginning the process of selling a few things. The list already has a few things, but more will be added. Lots of Apple stuff will be on there, a couple watches, a coffee grinder, and more.

Tiny Theme now supports Fathom Analytics (discount through link) with a new plugin. As a bonus, signing up through that link supports further development of the theme.

There have already been some really great mods of Tiny Theme, but this one is by far the most thorough I’ve seen to date. @juha went all out and really put his own style all over it. Impressive!

In the market for a 16" MacBook Pro? Hit me up. Current gen M2, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, 20 battery cycles. Original box, charger. Excellent condition. Wiped and ready. $1850 shipped ($2300 retail).

Also in this update for Tiny Theme is improved styling for the included newsletter theme.

By far, the most requested feature for Tiny Theme was the ability to easily change the browser theme color. I’ve now added the ability to do that via a plugin. First, update Tiny Theme to the latest version. Then install the new browser color plugin from the directory and choose your colors.

Pushed out an update to Tiny Theme today with a few bug fixes and some styling support for @sod’s Search Space plugin. That clears out the reported bugs for it, and it should open up room for more advanced features in the next couple weeks.

I’m currently reading The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles. His novels always have a very distinct style, and this one is no different. I’m 60% through it (thanks, Kindle progress tracker thing), so it’s time to start looking for what comes next. Any suggestions?

Today is our 10 year wedding anniversary. From a blind date to countless trips to lots of laughs to 2 perfect kids and everything in between, it’s been an amazing ride. May the next 10 be even better!

If you’re a Tiny Theme user and need a BlueSky invite, let me know.

I have a watch (Seiko SSK003) with a scratched crystal. Anyone know of a good place to have the crystal replaced (possibly upgraded)?

Well, that was easy. Tiny Theme now includes a matching newsletter template. This requires a Micro.blog Premium subscription. It’s very basic due to the complex nature of styling email, but it matches the out-of-box look of Tiny. If you’ve customized Tiny, you may also want to customize the included newsletter template to match. And it does work with the new “Intro” feature. I’m considering this a beta feature for now; please report any issues back to me.

In addition, I’ve also added special CSS classes that will allow you to individually style each link in your navigation bar. Want one nav link to have a different color background? Easy! So many cool possibilities. The update is available on your Plug-Ins page now.

Looks like newsletters are getting an upgrade on Micro.blog thanks to @manton. For those who use Tiny Theme, a matching newsletter template/styling will be added very soon.

I grabbed a new domain (simple redirect) for Tiny Theme for Micro.blog. I’ve been happy with what I’ve seen others do with the theme, so I thought why not? I like the domain too: tinyformicro.blog
