I did some basic CSS customizations to Kagi that make a big difference in my opinion. If you’re using Kagi, have you made any changes? Seems like something where @maique would add some #fe7eb0.

ICYMI, Tiny Theme now includes Microhooks. This is a brand new way to customize a Micro.blog theme! And it’s still improving. Thanks to input from @otaviocc and @gdp, even more Microhooks have been enabled.

I’ve been a faithful Safari user for years, but I’m giving Arc Browser and Orion a spin. A main reason is better integration of Kagi. So far, I much prefer Orion. For any of you who’ve used all, what are your thoughts?

Teaser: An update to Tiny Theme with a major new feature is almost complete. Hoping to get it out today. It’ll be a big deal for those of you who like to heavily customize things.

I just backed Project Tapestry from the Iconfactory. You should too!

Iā€™m a big reader and need some recommendations. In the mood for Mystery or Historical Fiction.

If you need a recommendation:

  • The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah is an all time favorite.
  • All the Light We Cannot See
  • The Winds of War
  • The Pillars of the Earth
  • Cloud Cuckoo Land
  • The Tatooist of Auschwitz

2023 was a great year. On to ā€˜24!

A few have asked, so answering publicly: Yes, I plan to add Bluesky replies support to Tiny Theme.

Due to travel & other family obligations, we did our immediate family Christmas today. It’s so much fun seeing the kids’ faces light up. And always funny what they really appreciate (a Braves hoodie, a kid’s cookbook, etc). But one big hit today was predictable: a cabinet style PacMan arcade game.

Ohhh. CSS :has() is now supported everywhere. This opens up so many possibilities for theme developers on Micro.blog. (cc @manton)
