I’m still struggling to find the ideal read-it-later/consumption service. Instapaper hasn’t evolved, Pocket isn’t my thing. Matter is OK. Readwise’s Reader (beta) is strong but is trying to do too much (like Feedbin, Inoreader). Any suggestions?

I really like the fact that Instapaper hasn’t evolved. For me, it just works so I keep using it.

I use Pinboard + readpaperback.com. Works great for what I want - minimal, clean reading, no bloat, no ads, read on browser (not mobile).

@pcora I’m almost right there with you. I just wish it worked better with Twitter, YouTube, and low-text links.

@Annie Hmm. Now that’s interesting! I’ve never heard of readpaperback before. Definitely gonna check that out.

@marclafountain I tried it ages ago. Can’t remember why it didn’t stick. Gonna try it and raindrop again.

I haven’t tried it at all w/ Twitter or Youtube so no idea how it’ll work with that type of thing.

@Annie I’m just excited there’s one out there I haven’t tried. There’s hope! 😀

I love that GoodLinks is a one-time purchase, works on all Apple platforms, has a gorgeous UI. The developer is also active in improving the product. Hope you like it!

@marclafountain I’ve got it downloaded and plan to dedicate some time next week to really running it through its paces. Appreciate it!
