Axiom Bible Privacy Policy
Axiom Bible is built privacy-first. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.
What the app stores
Everything Axiom keeps lives on your device, and, if you enable iCloud, syncs through your own private iCloud account:
- Favorite verses and passages you save
- App settings and preferences (appearance, default translation, font choices)
- Recent search history (up to five searches)
- Whether you have an active purchase for premium features
What we do not collect
- Personal identification (name, email, phone)
- Location data
- Contacts or other personal data
- Usage tracking or behavioral analytics
iCloud sync
If iCloud is enabled, your favorites, settings, and recent searches sync across your Apple devices through Apple’s iCloud. That sync is handled entirely by Apple under their privacy practices, and the developer never receives it. You can turn it off in your device’s Settings.
On-device AI
The historical-context feature uses Apple’s Foundation Models framework. It processes everything on your device, sends nothing to external servers, and shares nothing with third parties. It requires compatible Apple hardware and iOS 26 or later.
Apple services
Axiom uses only Apple’s own services: the App Store for purchases (Apple handles payment; the developer never sees your payment details), iCloud for optional sync, Spotlight for indexing your saved verses on-device, and Home Screen widgets that display favorites locally. If you opt in to share analytics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may send anonymized crash reports to help improve the app.
Storage and security
All data is stored locally using Apple’s secure storage. With iCloud sync on, it is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account under Apple’s standards. The developer does not operate servers that store your data and has no access to your favorites, settings, or anything else you enter.
Third parties
We do not share your data with third parties. The only external services are Apple’s own (App Store, iCloud, on-device AI), governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It is suitable for all ages and requires no personal information to use.
Your control
- Delete any saved verse within the app
- Clear your recent searches at any time
- Disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings
- Remove all local data by uninstalling the app
