Some Catching Up

Things have been busy over the last few months, and I’ve fallen behind on more than a couple things. As plans settle in for the summer, I believe I’ve got an opening to be more consistent in publishing useful items. I plan to start that before the end of the month and layout my intentions fully. In the meantime, I thought I’d recap some things in 2026.

Early on this year, we set aside a day to catch an NCAA basketball game, rooting for my alma mater, the Ragin Cajuns.

One random day at work, the local police department used our parking lot as a staging area for the mounted unit. My kids came to get some closeup time with the guests of honor.

A family trip to Branson followed.

And a random trip to Jefferson, TX for some antiquing.

All 4 of us have gotten into archery.

Beyond that, we have gone through birthdays, family outings, fishing, bike riding, gardening, and so much more. And the rest of the year promises much more!
